So, we get to our work site and we meet this helpful young man named “Sam.”
He instantly became part of the team.
Teams were deployed and were acquainted with their work sites. As I mentioned from a previous post, the team I’m working in is putting down laminate flooring. We’ve prepped a few rooms today, sweeping out dust, cutting insulation… taking pictures, sanding walls, cutting wood…
We ate at Popeye’s
Then we climbed the stairs to nowhere
On a much more serious note, there’s still a lot of urban decay in New Orleans. The way the media portrays how the city is in a stark contrast to the reality that New Orleans hasn’t fully recovered.
