Rusty Rusty.

I’ve started practicing portraiture… again. I’ve been really rusty. Aside from not drawing everyday, like I used to do, not painting for a while has taken it’s toll on my skill. This coming July, is going to be busy for me, finding people to draw and taking time to draw them. I would really love to do some oil renderings of my friend’s faces.
Right now I’m drafting out a redesign for this site for July, among other things, and creating new templates for the Art section for the portraits, sketches and other things. One of my friends is helping me out with taking photographs of my older pieces. Some of which, I’m working on scanning and piecing together like this:
I’ve done more drawings and illustrations than I have designed. I’m going to start focusing more time on design while trying to re-gain and learn more skills artistically.
Today, I’m preparing some watercolor paper, for the “Portrait a Week” project. Updates coming soon. Hopefully next week.
